Acupressure

Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body’s life force (sometimes known as qi or chi) to aid healing.

Crystal May

Crystal began her studies in massage at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She later on went to receive her 700-hour massage training at the Sedona School of Massage in Sedona, Arizona. During that time, she studied Shiatsu, deep tissue massage, Craniosacral, Orthobionomy, Polarity Therapy, Swedish Massage, and Assisted Isolated Stretching. Crystal taught a Swedish Massage class during her time working at the Way Inn neighboring Huaraz, Peru. Crystal also trained with the Kundalini Yoga instructor, Samson Burke, under the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. During her experience, she noticed a sense of clarity in her mind, body, and spirit. Crystal also spent a year studying at Emperor’s College of Traditional Medicine, where she was able to integrate Oriental Medicine into her work, through meridian and point based acupressure.

Barbara Roettger

Barbara is a graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage. She has been doing massage since 1983 and has over 1500 hours of bodywork training. Barbara uses an eclectic approach to massage. Her massage is specifically chosen to fit the client’s needs. Pressure used follows the spectrum, from deeper techniques suchy as Myofacial release, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular, Shiatsu and Acupressure.

Cathie Provost

In my practice of massage therapy I use a blend of massages which include: Swedish, clinical, acupressure, polarity, myofacial release, reiki energy, and craniosacral. From light to firm pressure listening to the client, and their needs. A great deal of focusing on spinal alignment, with intentions of releasing blocked energy, muscular tightness, & relaxation throughout the whole, of body, mind, & spirit with a kind, and caring touch. Greta Pitsenbarger

Greta has been a Certified Massage Therapist for 26 years. She is a graduate of Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts in Santa Cruz (1989) and recently graduated from the 900-hour program at National Holistic Institute. She has experience internationally working in resort spas, health clubs and doing house calls for private clients. Greta has her own unique style, integrating Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Myofascial Therapy (MFT), Deep Tissue and Sports massage.
