Practitioner Bios

Patrice Hamilton

I trained in Esalen Massage in the late 1990’s and provide a nurturing, relaxing and integrative massage experience. Utilizing the long, slow, t’ai chi-like strokes typical of Esalen Massage, the client is assisted in letting go and dropping into a calmer place within. As the mind quiets, the body softens. As the tissues release, balance can be restored.

In addition, I am trained in Cranial Sacral Therapy and have extensive training and experience as a practitioner of Cortical Field Re-education. CFR is a body awareness and movement practice that works through the central nervous system to repattern how and when muscles fire. This work informs my work with my massage clients.

Peri Paschal-Santa Cruz

With more than ten years of experience, Peri offers you a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating massage. She blends Swedish, Shiatsu, Polarity, Sports and Reflexology modalities together to meet your individual needs. She was trained at Cypress Institute in Santa Cruz (’94-95) and National Holistic Institute in Emeryville CA (’94-95). Peri specializes in Prenatal and Deep Tissue massage.

Robin Richart

Robin uses Polarity, Cranio-Sacral therapy, soft to deep tissue, as well as Swedish massage. She also offers Skin and Body Care treatments.

Rose McPherren

Rose has been passionate about the “Healing Arts,” for the past 12 yrs. She is trained in many different healing modalities: Structual Integration, Sports massage, Swedish, Pre-natal, Lomi~Lomi, Craniosacral and Body Psychology. She takes an innovative approach to her body work by assessing the muscle system on a deeper level, that ultimately addresses “structural” issues that may cause additional restriction throughout the entire body. Her focus is on areas that are injury specific or “trouble areas” in the body that may normally get over looked in a traditional massage session. Rose gives strong attention to detail and has deep listening skills in the subtle energy body, which can invite a strong sense of safety and provides an overall ease for deeper healing. Rose addresses the body with a beautiful holistic approach through seeing it as a whole and complete system.

Sandrah Overton

Certified in 1990, Sandra’s training includes Deep Tissue, Sports massage, Swedish massage, and Ayurvedic massage. She has used massage to help herself rehabilitate from three knee surgeries and other sports related injuries. She works from personal experience to provide her clients with a transformative and healing massage.

Sarah Graff

Sarah is a graduate from the Cypress Health Institute massage program in Santa Cruz where she studied Swedish massage, Polarity therapy and Craniosacral therapy. As a practitioner, she focuses on creating a relaxing and therapeutic experience for all of her clients, using primarily Swedish techniques tailored to each individual and their specific needs.

As a student of yoga, a surfer and outdoor enthusiast, she recognizes the stress our bodies often endure and the importance of keeping them balanced and healthy. Sarah is passionate about well-being and the connection between mind, body and spirit, and strives to create an environment in which her clients can experience that.

Steven Kananen

Steven practices a slow, thoughtful, and client-centered approach to bodywork. From light pressure to deep, from energetic to orthopedic, Steven tailors each massage to the wants and needs of each individual client. He has studied locally at both Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts and Cypress Health Institute, in addition to a private mentorship in Structural Integration. His modalities include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Polarity, Craniosacral, and Structural Integration.
